To Pray Successfully
1. Love The Lord, thy God with all your heart.
2. Be specific in what you're asking for.
3. Set aside a time each day for prayer and talking to God.
4. Put aside all worldly desires and humble yourself before the Throne of God.
5. Listen for the voice of The Holy Spirit.
6. Forgive your enemies.
7. Expect spiritual warfare.
8. Make changes in your lifestyle toward the way of The Lord.
9. Expect Miracles!

The Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of The Lord forever.
